We are pleased to introduce an In-Ceiling option for your Sonos One Sonos SL or Sonos Play-1 bookshelf Speakers (Note: Speaker is NOT Included!).  


Are you tired of spending tons of hard earned money on Architectural speakers and amplifiers just to be used as rear effects?  Perhaps you would like to add Sonos in your bathroom, office, kitchen, etc...all without seeing the speakers or the speaker mounts?  These In-Ceiling and UL safe enclosures will provides the perfect solution.  All electrical connections occur in a UL listed junction box....equipped with all UL listed components.  All you need to do is run power to the enclosure's location and cut a 9" hole.  


All of the speaker's access is achievable from the comfort of inside your living space.  Reprogramming your Sonos Bookshelf speaker couldn't be easier with a front facing reset switch and on/off power switch. 


Want to use Sonos Voice Control, Alexa or Google Assistant?  No problem!  The 6 microphones built in the Sonos One speaker are all directed into your living space.


Worried if the Bookshelf speaker is "Omnidirectional?  The Sonos Bookshelf speaker grille is made to represent Omnidirectional status, but they actually are NOT Omnidirectional... It only has one midrange and one tweeter speaker facing directly forward (or downward if mounted in the SL-1 Speaker Enclosure).  Your sound and performance will not be compromised.


Requirements:

You need a space to mount the enclosure that has 10" diameter of clear ceiling space (No rafters, joists, conduits, plumbing, etc..in the way)
You will need 110VAC power run to EACH SL-1 enclosure
You will need 5" of depth/head space... These will not fit in a typical 3-1/2" wall cavity
